I’ve only had the shrimp poboy. I get it every time. It tastes like fresh shrimp I remember having as a kid. Good good. Parking can be sparse at lunch.

I've only been here twice but I've been impressed with the Po Boys. The restraunt is a step above diner which is just fine for me. The staff is always smiling and my table is never waiting for drinks or anything else.

The food is simple, quick, and always good. The wait staff is lacking in service skills, but the food is worth the stop.

For a great lunch in a family-friendly atmosphere with some of the best muffalettas, boiled shrimp salad (with not-to-be-missed home-made remoulade dressing), Sharon’s special (roast beef poboy-French dip style), shrimp poboy, seasoned fries, and more, Fat Daddy’s is the best place in Plaquemine to go! While small, and usually busy at lunch especially, the service is excellent without a long wait. We bring most of our friends and relatives for a Fat Daddy’s treat when they are in town. (To include family and friends from California, North Carolina, Texas, Argentina, and England). Fat Daddy’s party trays are excellent also. For taste of very casual, hometown food, Fat Daddy’s can’t be beat!

My waitress was extremely nice despite my co-workers semi-rude advances.. i apologized for his behavior but she explained to me it happens quite often.. the food was amazing.. the seafood gumbo was some of the best I've had... and the fish was really good..

Food is amazing! I must say that the oyster poboy is my favorite! The food is always hot and fresh. The eating space is very small, but cozy and the employees are SUPER friendly! I always feel welcomed at this establishment! Never disappointed when I eat here. Even brought my family. They loved it too!

Typically I would give 5 stars. I have never been disappointed in Fat Daddy's until today. I ordered a hot sausage po boy that did not have enough sauce on it so it was dry. Speaking of dry, I ordered a Sharon special for my wife. It did not come with the gravy. I have not yet given up on them this was the first time so I do plan on going back.

Quick and good option for food on the go. Lisa has been doing it well long enough to write the book on how to do it well. What you get is consistent. When you want a po-boy in Plaquemine this is your jam.

It's been horrible the last few times I have been, the service was no good and neither was the food. My family and I will not be returning.

Nice little spot to grab a quick lunch. Not a huge menu but what they have is good and decently priced. Fast service and the waitress was nice.

Good was excellent, service was very good, and the overall atmosphere was not bad.

I was a bit disappointed. I read the reviews and thought the food would be much better. There weren't a lot of items on the menu that weren't fried. I got the "BBQ chicken", but the BBQ sauce wasn't cooked on the chicken, there was just a large amount of it poured on top before it was served. The chicken itself was good after I removed a lot of the sauce. The beans were good. The "potato salad" was interesting, but not tasty. It looked like a ball of chunky mashed potatoes shoved in a plastic cup with a lid. It didn't taste like potato salad at all. For the price of this plate, the sides were extremely small.

I worked down the treat from Fat Daddy’s 23 years. I miss it!Consistently good food!During peak lunch hours I called in my order early for pickup instead of eating there.

The food is always really good, the staff is super nice but usually they always seem to forget something in my order.I eat here often with my coworkers, order to go and sometimes they'll forget something big like an entire order of fries or something small like sauce for our wings. I get that they're really busy all the time, though. I just wish they would pay a tiny bit more attention to our orders.

Seafood muffuletta as good as it get.

My husband had the muffaletta and enjoyed, saying it was as good as he ever had. The gumbo was good, but needed okra. I ordered the BBQ pork ribs and wished I hadn't. They were boiled first, then baked. They were not the worst I've ever had, but I've certainly had much better. They were only somewhat tender and very chewy. I am used to ribs that you can pull gently with your teeth, the meat comes off and chewing them is no problem. The best thing I had from their menu was the bread pudding and it was first rate.
